GO Outside Festival

Each year Roanoke Virginia throws GO Outside Festival! Every outdoor enthusiast near and far comes to Roanoke to check this festival out. Whether you enjoy hiking, biking, rock climbing, hunting or fishing there is something here for you. This year Go Fest will be October 13-15. Three days packed full of outdoor fun! There are tons of outdoor vendors with their tents set up just waiting to show you the newest outdoor trends, gear, and answer all of your questions. Go Fest allows you to participate in hands on activities and learn from experienced instructors.They offer 'Try It' demonstrations for adults and kids. This includes several activities to participate in such as fly fishing, paddling , Barre class, rock climbing, hiking obstacle course, yoga, biking, and SOO much more!
If you want to cool off and grab a beer, both Parkway Brewing Company and Deschutes Brewery will be set up, along with food vendors. Once you grab some food and a drink head over to the Haley Toyota stage for some live music. If you're wanting to get your dance on, you can head over to the silent disco. After walking around a bit you may want to make your way to the ENO Lotus tent to lay back and relax.
This event is very family friendly. There is so much for kids and adults to do. Between the activities, demonstrations, vendors, music, food, and drinks you will have a fun, packed afternoon. If you are wanting to experience the full three days they offer camping on site! I went to GO Fest for the first time last year and had the best time. I can't wait to "GO" this year!
