The nights are getting cooler, the moon is getting fuller as Halloween is right around the corner. Virginia offers so many spooky Halloween events and here are some of the top ones for adults and kid.
Spooky Adventures For Adults
Scaremare - If you love haunted forest and haunted houses this is the one for you. Liberty puts on a Halloween adventure, Scaremare. Now don't be fooled this is one is full of creatures of the night as you make your way through forest and haunted houses.
Howl-O-Scream - If you love the thrill of amusement parks and being chased around by scary people with chain saws this is the one for you. Bush Gardens in Williamsburg Virginia turns to a haunted interactive Halloween experience at night.
Ghost Tours - With all the history Virginia holds there are several towns that offer ghost tours. Walk the streets of different towns and hear the stories, some even take you inside the buildings. These tours are always a fun experience, one of my personal favorites.
Scream Forest - Richmond Virginia holds the biggest haunted trail in Virginia! You will be left on foot in the forest to make your way back through the haunted forest. If you love the thrill of being scared this one if for you. This is not for the weak and not suitable for small children.
Shocktober - If you love clowns and carnival themed creepiness then this one is for you. Shocktober is in Leesburg Virgina. This is an actual haunted house turned into a Halloween spooky carnival clown experience. This is not for the faint of heart.
Haunted Harvest - In Blue Ridge Virginia is Layman's Farm. While it maybe a cute pumpkin patch during the day, when the sun sets and the moon comes out so does the spookiness. Their corn maze turns into a haunted maze full of creatures of the night, go if you dare.
Spooky Fun For The Kiddos
Yoders Farm - Take the kiddos to the pumpkin patch. This is a super cute pumpkin patch full of fun activities for kids. They offer hay rides, animals, a food stand with funnel cakes and homemade cider, corn maze and so much more! This patch is my personal favorite because you get to go out in the field and pick your pumpkin right off the vine!
Spectacular Saturdays! - In Downtown Roanoke Virginia the Taubman Museum Of Art offers a kid friendly Halloween Event. Make Halloween arts and crafts!
Best Trunk or Treating In Virginia - Candy candy everywhere! These are the top Trunk or treating options in Virginia, get your sweet tooth on.
Pumpkinville - In Williamburg Virgnia is Pumpkinville! A huge kid friendly patch with games, rides and of course pumpkins.
Laymans Farm - In Blue Ridge Virginia is Laymans Farm. This Farm offers everything from, pumpkin patch, hay rides, corn maze, pumpkin launcher!( Yes you can shoot your pumpkin with a pressurized cannon), slides, huge jumping pillow, animals, cow train and so much more!
